Overall Purpose of the Job

  • At the heart of our operations, the Facilities Engineer shapes the performance and future of our production assets, applying deep, hands-on expertise to design, maintain, and enhance the infrastructure that keeps Nigeria’s energy flowing safely, efficiently, and reliably.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Apply engineering skills in hands-on oil and gas operations.
  • Work with engineers and cross-functional teams to solve technical issues.
  • Support engineering projects and drive operational excellence.
  • Stay current with industry standards, safety protocols, and new technologies.

Requirements

Education:

  • B.Eng in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering
  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering

Skills:

  • The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a solid grasp of engineering concepts, self-motivation, and the ability to contribute individually and work well in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.

The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of Second-Class Upper Division (2.1) in any of the following engineering disciplines: Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Petroleum, Electrical/Electronics, Industrial & Production, Subsea, Materials & Metallurgical or related disciplines.
  • Proficient in computer systems and industry-relevant software tools.
  • Willing and able to work across various operational locations in Nigeria.
  • Highly adaptable to shifting workloads, priorities, and dynamic environments.
  • NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
  • Candidates should have a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant industry experience. 
  • Proven success collaborating in cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.
