- We are seeking a competent and diligent Farm Accountant/Admin Manager to oversee the Farm Accounting and Administrative dept, establishing effective financial policies and controls and creating timely and accurate financial statements and reports, implement strategies for maximum yield, organise farm administration, work machinery and manage any associated businesses and staff
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for all farm operations.
- Create and manage budget plans for the farm.
- Monitor cash flow and payroll activity.
- Develop and analyses financial models to assist in decision-making processes.
- Assist with the preparation of tax documents and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
- Prepare and submit financial reports to management and other stakeholders as required.
- Make recommendations to management on ways to improve the farm’s financial performance.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions with other members of the management team.
- Monitor changes in relevant legislation and regulations that could affect the farm’s accounting practices.
Desired Profile
- 10 years of experience or more in the Farming Industry.
- BSc / HND Accounting, Business Administration Management or other related fields.
- ICAN/ANAN will be an added advantage.
Remuneration
- N150,000 per month.
