Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, visionary, and hands-on Farm Manager to
lead and oversee all aspects of our poultry and feed mill operations. The ideal
candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of livestock management
(including parent stock and commercial birds), feed formulation, team leadership,
and regulatory compliance. A veterinary background or strong experience in
veterinary services will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Leadership
- Develop and execute farm-wide strategic and operational plans to optimize
- production and profitability.
- Lead day-to-day management of all poultry and feed mill activities, ensuring
adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Manage the farms operational calendar including breeding cycles,

- Oversee the rearing of layers, broilers, and breeding stock from day-old to
- Supervise all veterinary procedures including vaccinations, disease control,
- Maintain and analyze production data such as egg count, feed intake, growth
- Coordinate procurement and application of veterinary pharmaceuticals,
- Formulate nutritionally balanced feeds for various poultry categories.
- Supervise feed mill operations, ensuring efficiency, hygiene, and quality
- Monitor inventory and enforce reorder levels for raw materials and finished
- Supervise and mentor farm workers and section heads.
- Develop staff schedules, training programs, performance reviews, and

- Minimum Education: B.Sc. or HND in Agriculture, Animal Science, Animal
- Preferred: Masters degree (MBA or Agricultural Management) and/or
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in large-scale poultry management, with
- Proven experience in parent stock management, hatchery, and feed mill
- Strong understanding of poultry production systems, disease control, and
- Computer literacy is essential (MS Excel, Word, farm management software,
