We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Farm Worker
Ref No: STS2025-14
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Contract
Contract: 6 months’ renewable
Duties
Farm Operations Support:
- Assist in feeding, watering, and cleaning of livestock.
- Assist in routine checks and report any issues with animals or equipment.
- Provide support during experimental setups and sample collection.
- Support crop and forage production activities, including planting, weeding, and harvesting.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of farm facilities.
Basic Data Recording:
- Record daily farm activities in logbooks or digital forms.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of recorded data.
- Report observations and anomalies to supervisors promptly.
- Support data collection during experiments under supervision.
- Perform any other duty as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications
- O’level Certificate with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.
Competencies
The ideal candidate must:
- Have experience in farm work, especially livestock and crop handling.
- Be willing to work in a production environment and perform physical tasks.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
- Have basic literacy and the ability to record information accurately.
