Job Title: Finance and Administrative Assistant

Locations: Ikeja, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our dynamic team.
  • The Finance Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department in day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
  • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation
  • Provide administrative support to the finance and HR department as needed.
  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets
  • Support the finance team in conducting financial analysis and forecasting
  • Assist with employee expense reimbursements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Previous experience in a finance-related role is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
  • High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
