Your responsibilities…Financial Management
- You will manage end-to-end financial operations including bookkeeping, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- You will deliver clean, audit-ready monthly and quarterly management accounts for leadership and investors.
- You will enforce financial controls across spending, payroll, and treasury.
- You will own financial data integrity and compliance with global reporting requirements.
Compliance & Legal Coordination
- You will ensure compliance with global tax, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements across Nigeria, UK, US, and BVI.
- You will liaise with legal partners to maintain corporate filings, contracts, and policies.
- You will support crypto-related compliance, including token accounting, crypto treasury tracking, wallet oversight, and payments.
Fraud Monitoring & Player Risk
- You will audit player activity logs and payment flows to detect anomalies and fraudulent behavior.
- You will work with the product and compliance teams to flag risks and tighten systems.
Back Office & Systems
- You will implement and manage internal ops tools like HRIS, payroll systems, accounting software, and vendor systems.
- You will support hiring workflows, onboarding, invoice validation, and vendor payments.
- You will maintain clean operational records and streamline back-office workflows.
Insights & Reporting
- You will analyze revenue, user economics, cost of acquisition, payouts, and business health indicators.
- You will build dashboards and reporting flows that empower data-informed decision-making at the leadership level.
To be considered, you should have
- 4–6+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or operations, ideally in a startup, fintech, or gaming environment.
- Deep experience with financial tools like QuickBooks, Xero, Excel/Sheets, and a strong reconciliation mindset.
- Comfort working with vendors, back-office systems, and legal coordination across multiple jurisdictions.
- Familiarity with crypto transactions, wallet management, and the basics of crypto compliance.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and system-building skills.
