Finance drives the reporting, the strategic analysis and the financial operations to make FairMoney’s mission possible. We are currently looking for a Finance Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesMonthly Management Reporting
- Review monthly management report prepared by accountants and sign off.
- Ensure there are relevant schedules supporting the items on the financial statement.
- Train and motivate accountants.
- Resolve issues raised by the financial control units and other reviewers timely and accurately.
Variance Analysis
- Identify drivers for financial statements line items
- Analyse the variance between actuals and budget as well as change over time.
- Recommend corrective actions for adverse variances.
Regulatory Reporting
- Ensure CBN returns is submitted on or before the 5th day of the month.
- Ensure the NDIC report and other regulatory returns are submitted as at when due.
- Manage CBN audits.
Year End Close/Statutory Audits
- Lead the annual statutory audit.
RequirementsThe ideal candidate will be
- A qualified accountant (ACCA, ICAN).
- Must be very good with IFRS.
- Have an Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills.
- SQL and other data analytics skills are major advantage.
- Have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience.
- Experience in audit and/or financial service industry is necessary.
- Must have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Be an effective team player with a positive attitude.
- Must be able to work without supervision.
