Job Title: Fleet Coordinator
Location: Lagos

Job Summary
- The Fleet Coordinator will oversee and manage the company’s vehicles, ensuring they are safe, efficient, and compliant with current regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee fleet operations, ensuring vehicles meet safety, efficiency, and regulatory standards.
- Optimise fleet performance at the optimal cost.
- Provide leadership, support, and expertise to the team
- Ensure compliance with vehicle safety regulations, emissions standards requirements, permits, and driver certifications.
- Manage day-to-day fleet operations to ensure efficiency.
- Control and manage fleet costs, including fuel, repairs, insurance, and leasing.
- Manage supply chain and vehicle life cycles.
- Performing periodic vehicle inspections to ensure that they are in good working order.
- Coordinating with management to develop and implement policies and procedures related to fleet management.
- Monitoring and analyzing fleet data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Preparing reports related to fleet operations and presenting them to management
- Liaise with other Company Health & Safety employees to ensure consistent safety practices which are in-line with best practice
- Managing driver schedules and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Communicating with drivers to ensure that they are aware of their schedules and responsibilities.
- Working with mechanics to coordinate vehicle repairs and maintenance.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- Proven experience in fleet management
Knowledge:
- Familiarity withvehicle tracking systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with the team and lease companies.
- Proficiency in generating detailed reports and managing driver information.
- Proven experience in fleet management, with a specific focus on cars and vans.
- In-depth knowledge of vehicle allocation, servicing, and maintenance.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Skills & Abilities:
- Good communication skills both written and oral
- Ability to work alone and manage own workload
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with regulations related to vehicle maintenance and safety.
- Proficiency in relevant software, including spreadsheet and database applications
- Strong time management skills
- A flexible attitude due to the varying day to day requirements
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Salary
N250,000 – N350,000 Monthly.
