- The Front Desk Officer will be responsible for delivering a warm and professional welcome to all students, staff, and visitors.
- This role combines customer service excellence with administrative support, ensuring smooth front-office operations and clear communication across departments.
- The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and committed to creating a positive first impression in an academic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors, students, and stakeholders.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries with courtesy and professionalism.
- Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Handle administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and documentation.
- Provide accurate information about the college’s programs, procedures, and events.
- Assist in the coordination of student onboarding and visitation processes.
- Receive and distribute mail and other correspondences.
- Liaise with internal departments to support smooth operations.
Qualifications
- HND in any Social Science discipline.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Certification in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or a related field is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
