Reports to: Department LeadsPosition Summary
- We are looking to fill the role of a Graphics Designer who will be responsible for creating visually appealing and on-brand designs across various digital and traditional media platforms.
Responsibilities
- Study design briefs and determine requirements
- Conceptualize visuals based on client and project needs
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas for feedback
- Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using digital tools or by hand
- Collaborate with copywriters and account managers to execute final designs
- Test graphics across various media formats and platforms
- Work closely with other graphic designers within the department
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually engaging and consistent with brand guidelines.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree
- Proven experience as a graphic designer
- A strong portfolio showcasing illustrations, branding, or other visual projects
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver
- A keen eye for aesthetics, composition, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work methodically, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks
- Quick, efficient, and dependable.
Skills that would make a candidate successful in this role:
- At least 3 years of experience working at a digital or creative agency in Nigeria
- Hands-on experience creating for top-tier brands
- Strong creative thinking and execution skills
- Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver results without close supervision.
