Job description: Job Description:Location: Lagos, NigeriaWork Schedule: HybridOur client is a leading fintech company licensed to provide international payment solution for businesses in Africa.The company is seeking to hire a highly organized, proactive, and experienced Head General Internal Service professional to oversee the end-to-end administration of core support functions, including fleet operations, logistics, procurement, travel coordination, asset management, and facility maintenance.The ideal candidate will be a multi-tasker with excellent attention to detail, vendor negotiation skills, and a strong sense of operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Fleet & Transport Management:§ Oversee the allocation, maintenance, fueling, and servicing of company vehicles.§ Manage drivers’ rosters, training, and performance.§ Ensure vehicle documentation (e.g., insurance, licensing) is up to date.§ Monitor fuel consumption and ensure cost-effective vehicle use.Logistics & Procurement:§ Manage local and international procurement of goods and services.§ Establish vendor relationships and ensure compliance with procurement policies.§ Supervise logistics for office supplies, IT equipment, and other business support needs.§ Track purchase orders, delivery timelines, and contract terms.Travel Management:§ Coordinate domestic and international travel for employees, including flight bookings, visas, hotel reservations, and transport.§ Develop and enforce travel policy and budget controls.§ Maintain relationships with travel agencies and partners.Asset & Inventory Management:§ Maintain an accurate asset register for office equipment, furniture, and IT hardware.§ Monitor movement, tagging, and condition of assets across all locations.§ Conduct periodic audits and update asset lifecycle status.Facility & Office Management:§ Ensure facilities (e.g., buildings, workspaces) are clean, functional, secure, and well-maintained.§ Oversee repairs, maintenance schedules, and vendor services (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical, janitorial).§ Coordinate space planning and office fit-outs as required.Compliance & Budgeting:§ Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards across all administrative functions.§ Prepare and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and cost-saving initiatives.Requirements§ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.§ 8-10 years’ experience in administrative roles, preferably in financial services, fintech, or a corporate environment.§ Strong experience in vendor management, procurement processes, and facility operations.§ Proficiency in MS Office tools, ERP systems, and fleet/asset tracking software.§ Knowledge of regulatory requirements in HSE, fleet, and facility management in Nigeria.Skills & Competencies:§ Strong organizational and planning skills.§ Excellent negotiation and vendor relationship management.§ Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle multiple priorities.§ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.§ High integrity, discretion, and professionalism.BenefitsCompensation: Base Pay is N2m monthly net plus Other interesting benefits/packages
