The Position:
- The Head of Treasury is responsible for leading the Treasury team in the management of Renmoney’s liquidity position, to achieve optimal profitability while minimizing risk exposure.
- You will provide timely and relevant Balance Sheet information to facilitate strategic decision making.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor and measure liquidity and funding requirements and ensure compliance with company standards
- Monitor and measure interest rate risk and advise strategies to manage it
- Monitor Balance Sheet triggers and regulatory ratios
- Diversify funding sources
- Manage banking relationships and Bureau de change dealings
- Assist in the preparation of ALCO reports
- Participate and lead wholesale funding deals
- Initiate funds transfer and Bank placements
- Conduct a periodic rate survey and market intelligence to aid cost of funds management
Requirements
Required:
- University degree or equivalent in any field
- A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a Treasury or Finance role in commercial banks
Preferred:
- ACA (ICAN), CIMA or ACCA qualification / Student membership
