We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head, Supply Chain

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Employment Type: Full-time

Reports To: Executive Chairman

Industry: Maritime Transportation

About the Role

  • The Head, Supply Chain will lead end-to-end supply chain operations encompassing procurement, logistics, inventory management, warehousing, and vendor relations.
  • The role ensures optimal performance, cost-effectiveness, and continuity of supply across the organization.
  • You will be responsible for aligning supply chain strategies with corporate goals while driving continuous improvement, sustainability, and digital transformation throughout the value chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company’s supply chain strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Oversee procurement planning, sourcing, and vendor contract negotiations.
  • Lead logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain strategic vendor partnerships.
  • Implement risk mitigation and business continuity plans across the supply chain.
  • Drive digital transformation and automation of supply chain processes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to forecast demand and align supply priorities.
  • Develop and track KPIs, dashboards, and reports to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Manage inventory control, warehousing, and stock optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for importation, exportation, and local sourcing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as CIPS, APICS, or PMP are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in global sourcing, logistics, and inventory management within the Oil & Gas or related sectors.
  • Strong understanding of Nigerian and international procurement regulations.
  • Experience managing supply chain operations within the maritime industry.
  • Exposure to digital supply chain platforms and automation tools.
  • A Master’s degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in supply chain or procurement leadership roles.

Salary

N27,000,000 Annually.
