Job Title: Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

Job Role/ Objectives
- We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Professional to lead and manage all HSE functions across our organization.
- The ideal candidate will drive the development and implementation of strategic safety systems, ensure full regulatory compliance, and maintain the company’s HSE Management System.
Position Overview/Responsibilities
- Develop and conduct regular HSE training programs and orientation sessions on safety laws, hazard control, and the proper use of safety equipment.
- Investigate and document construction incidents, including accidents, near-misses, and occupational injuries; identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Recommend corrective actions and oversee the implementation of quick-response systems for on-site/off-site incidents.
- Develop and implement project-specific HSE procedures and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 standards across all project sites.
- Maintain proper safety documentation and regularly update the HSE Management System.
- Conduct safety audits and site inspections of equipment, tools, and worksites to ensure compliance with internal and external safety standards. Correct potential hazards.
- Monitor worksites and company facilities to ensure compliance with company HSE policies and government regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or any relevant HSE discipline.
- HSE certifications such as NEBOSH or equivalent (mandatory)
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with management and cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in MS Office and engineering software.
- Passionate about workplace health and safety, and committed to developing a culture of safety within the company.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in HSE roles, preferably within the construction industry.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
