- We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Supervisor to join our team at our client hotel in Edo State.
- The ideal candidate must reside in Edo State and will be responsible for overseeing daily hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high service standards.
- The Hotel Supervisor will play a key role in managing staff, coordinating departments, and ensuring compliance with hospitality standards and company policies.
Responsibilities
Operational Management:
- Supervise daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and food & beverage services.
- Ensure that all departments work efficiently and provide top-tier service to guests.
- Monitor and maintain hotel facilities, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
Guest Experience & Customer Service:
- Address guest concerns and complaints professionally, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Enhance guest satisfaction by ensuring smooth check-in/check-out processes and overall service quality.
- Gather and analyze guest feedback to implement improvements.
Staff Supervision & Training:
- Lead, motivate, and manage hotel staff, ensuring high performance and professionalism.
- Conduct regular staff training on hospitality standards, customer service, and operational procedures.
- Schedule and assign tasks to employees while ensuring adequate staffing levels.
Financial & Inventory Management:
- Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and cost control efforts.
- Monitor expenses, revenue, and profitability, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing wastage.
Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations within the hotel.
- Implement and maintain hotel policies and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local hospitality regulations and company guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Must be a resident of Edo State.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
