Our client in facility management sector is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager to lead our HR operations across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of HR experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role, and must be professionally certified (CIPMN / SPHRi). The HR Manager will be responsible for building efficient HR systems, supporting business objectives, and ensuring full compliance with employment laws and internal policies.Key Responsibilities:
HR Strategy & Policy Development:
Develop, implement, and maintain HR strategies and policies that align with business goals and local regulations.Talent Acquisition & Management:
Oversee recruitment processes, onboarding, and workforce planning to ensure timely hiring of qualified staff across operational sites.Performance Management:
Lead performance appraisal cycles, monitor KPIs, and support managers in evaluating and improving staff performance.Employee Relations & Compliance:
Manage disciplinary issues, grievances, and ensure compliance with labor laws and company procedures.Training & Development:
Identify staff training needs and coordinate internal or external learning programs to promote employee development.Payroll & Benefits Administration:
Coordinate with Finance for accurate payroll processing and administer staff benefits, leave management, and statutory deductions.HR Reporting & Metrics:
Maintain HRIS and prepare monthly/quarterly HR reports for leadership review.Health, Safety, and Welfare:
Support the company’s HSE efforts by ensuring HR-related policies support a safe working environment.Team Leadership:
Supervise HR officers or assistants and provide coaching and mentorship as required.Education and certification:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Professional Certification (Mandatory): Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPMN). Senior Professional in Human Resources – International (SPHRi)Experience:
o Minimum of 7 years progressive HR experience.
o At least 4 years in a supervisory or managerial HR role.Skills & Competencies:
o Strong understanding of Nigerian labor law and HR best practices.
o Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
o Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Resides within Lagos (preferably Gbagada or its environs).
- Available to resume immediately.
- Experience working in facility management or multisite operations is an advantage.
