You will be responsible for designing and managing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across teams, and ensuring staff performance is tracked, reviewed, and optimized. - 4+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years focused on performance management or KPI setting.
- Strong knowledge of performance frameworks (e.g., OKRs, SMART goals).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to exercise tact and discretion
- Ability to facilitate and coach team leads in conducting appraisals.
- You have impeccable judgement and ability to balance the needs of the company and employees alike.
- Possess strong project management and Excel/Google Sheet skills.
- You have a passion to help others succeed and genuinely believe that talent is the greatest asset of any company.
- Experience in a fast-paced or multi-country business environment is a plus.
- Experience in Fintech and Payments
- Experience in a startup environment
Responsibilities:KPI Development & Alignment:
- Work with department heads to define and set individual and team KPIs aligned with organizational goals.
- Ensure KPI documentation is clear, accessible, and consistently reviewed.
Performance Management:
- Drive and manage the company’s performance review cycles (quarterly).
- Ensure all managers have tools and support to conduct effective appraisals.
- Track performance trends and flag areas of concern or excellence.
Staff Engagement & Accountability:
- Regularly engage staff to clarify expectations and provide feedback loops.
- Support underperforming employees with development plans in collaboration with their managers.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of performance outcomes across teams.
- Prepare reports for leadership on individual and departmental performance metrics.
People Operations Support:
- Support the People team on learning & development programs, onboarding, and cultural alignment.
- Ensure performance-related policies are well communicated and updated as needed.
Auditing and Controls:
- Carry out audit checks within core people processes to ensure tasks have been fulfilled accurately.
- Regular data audits to ensure our data is accurate and complete.
- Ad hoc audits of critical documentation, for example: right to work documents, employment contracts, options certificates.
