- We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Human Resources (HR) Officer to join our team.
- The HR Officer will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including recruitment and selection, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with a deep understanding of HR best practices and employee engagement.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
- Provide counseling on policies and procedures
- Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads, and managing the hiring process
- Assist in performance management processes
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
- Create and implement effective onboarding plans
- Develop training and development programs
- Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data, etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
- Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
Skills & Qualifications
- BSc / HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HR Officer or in a similar HR role.
- HR Certification is a plus (e.g., CIPM)
- Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus
- Excellent knowledge of various HR functions such as pay & benefits, recruitment, onboarding, evaluation, training & development, etc.
- Good understanding of labor laws
- Proficient in MS Office
- Good knowledge of HR software such as ATS, HRIS
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
