We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: ICT Assistant Manager
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate design and implementation with Head ICT to ensure alignment with area/cluster objectives and corporate strategic IT direction
- Identify and implement solutions to user challenges and concerns associated with the use of personal computer equipment
- Evaluating technology risks to develop a network disaster recovery plan and backup procedures.
- To be able to quickly and competently diagnose network issues and to resolve or externally escalate them when required
- To assist in the production and maintenance of documentation relating to the Company’s ICT system
- To assist in the administration of the Company’s communication systems including mobile phones, internet connection, and telephone system
- Takes responsibility for the day-to-day operational effectiveness of the Company’s ICT security and compliance with the responsibility of investigating Cybersecurity breaches
- Monitor, Diagnose, and adjust performance on LAN and networks
- Manage shared technology resources
- Carry out periodic preventative maintenance on machines to ensure their reliability and availability
- Manage secure network access for remote users
- Keep up to date with new technology
Educational Qualifications, Certifications and Experience
- Educational Qualifications:
- Minimum of an HND qualification / B.Sc Degree in Electrical Electronics, Computer Science / Engineering, or other applicable Degree course.
- Necessary certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISA, MCSA, et al
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
