We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Information Assurance Manager
Location: Apapa, Lagos
Purpose of the Job
- To provide assurance over the effectiveness of controls of the cybersecurity infrastructure and processes designed to protect information assets against threats and vulnerabilities at FMN.
The Job
- Conduct log-based and endpoint-based threat detection to detect and protect against threats coming from multiple sources.
- Assist the Information Assurance Manager audit control and management of user accounts, employees and contractors.
- Assist in collating emerging cybersecurity threats and provide recommendations to manage them.
- Assist the Information Assurance Manager in conducting network monitoring and intrusion detection analysis
- Correlate activity across assets (endpoint, network, applications, mobile) and environments (on-premises, cloud) to identify patterns of anomalous activity.
- Review alerts and data from sensors, documenting a formal and highly technical incident report.
Qualifications and Experience
- First Degree in Accounting, Sciences or Engineering.
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
The Person Must:
- Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understand data backup and recovery, business continuity planning, and disaster recovery.
- Ability to configure and manage network devices like firewalls, VPNs, DNS servers, and proxy servers.
- Ability to collaborate with other IT professionals, management, and external stakeholders.
