- We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Analyst to manage and optimize inventory levels across our retail pharmacy.
- The ideal candidate will ensure accurate stock records, minimize shortages or overstocking, and support efficient pharmacy operations by providing timely data analysis and inventory insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels for all pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical products.
- Maintain accurate stock records using pharmacy inventory management systems (e.g., Shelf Life, SmartRx).
- Track product expiration dates and coordinate timely disposal or return to suppliers.
- Forecast inventory needs based on sales trends, seasonality, and promotional activity.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system data to identify variances.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and procurement teams to manage replenishment orders.
- Set reorder levels and alert thresholds for critical and high-demand medications.
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies, pilferage, or wastage.
- Generate inventory reports (weekly/monthly) for management review.
- Assist in implementing inventory control policies and improving inventory turnover ratios.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and pharmaceutical inventory guidelines (e.g., NAFDAC).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory analysis or stock control.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards in the pharmaceutical sector.

Salary
