Job Title: Inventory Manager

Job Description
- The Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all inventory-related activities in the restaurant.
- This includes tracking food and beverage stock, ordering supplies, minimizing waste, and ensuring optimal stock levels to support smooth kitchen and bar operations.
- The Inventory Manager plays a key role in cost control and efficient resource utilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels of food, beverages, and other restaurant supplies.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to forecast usage and prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Collaborate with the finance team to monitor inventory costs and support budgeting processes.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of inventory transactions.
- Use inventory management software (POS or ERP systems) to track inventory movement.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
- Place orders with vendors and suppliers while negotiating the best possible prices and terms.
- Receive, inspect, and properly store all incoming stock in accordance with food safety standards.
- Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) is practiced in all storage areas.
- Track and report inventory waste, spoilage, and theft, and take corrective actions when necessary.
Salary
N150,000 – N350,000 monthly.
