Job Title: IT Administrator
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Requirements
- Experience: Usually 2 – 5 years in IT administration roles.
- Operating Systems: Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Database Management: Basic SQL and administrative skills for handling database operations.
- Hardware & Infrastructure: Capable of configuring and maintaining servers, printers, peripherals, and network cabling.
- Security Protocols: Knowledge of firewalls, antivirus, intrusion detection, patch management, and backup routines.
- Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python to streamline repetitive tasks.
- Networking: Understanding of IP addressing, subnetting, routing, switches, DHCP, DNS, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Virtualization & Cloud: Familiarity with virtual machines, cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Soft Skills & Management Traits:
- Problem-solving: Rapid diagnosis and resolution of technical issues—especially during outages.
- Teamwork & Collaboration: Working closely with stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability & Continuous Learning: Keeping up with emerging technologies and evolving business needs.
- Time Management & Organization: Juggling support, maintenance, and project delivery with minimal downtime.

Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 monthly.
