- The IT Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the overall information technology infrastructure and services for the organization.
- This role involves overseeing network administration, system security, hardware and software maintenance, and ensuring technology aligns with business goals.
- The ideal candidate is technically proficient, a strong leader, and committed to maintaining a reliable and efficient IT environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, networks, and servers.
- Manage IT security measures to protect data and systems from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
- Assess and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
- Ensure data backup and disaster recovery plans are in place and regularly tested.
- Manage the IT budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Lead and manage the IT team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in IT management, network administration, system administration, or IT support.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, operating systems, hardware, software, and security protocols.
- Proficiency in managing various IT systems and software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
Salary
