Hardware Maintenance & Support:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
- Diagnose and repair hardware failures, replacing faulty components when necessary.
- Ensure regular maintenance and servicing of IT equipment to minimize breakdowns.
- Keep an inventory of all IT-related hardware and manage repairs or replacements.
Network Administration:
- Set up and maintain LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), and Wi-Fi connections.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Configure and secure network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Ensure data security by implementing network access controls and security protocols.
IT Support & Troubleshooting:
- Provide technical support to staff on hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Respond to IT support requests promptly and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Maintain IT support logs and track recurring issues for long-term solutions.
Security & Data Protection:
- Ensure all IT systems are protected against cyber threats by updating antivirus and security software.
- Monitor network activity for any unauthorized access or security breaches.
- Implement data backup and recovery strategies to prevent data loss.
System Upgrades & Documentation:
- Recommend and implement upgrades to improve IT efficiency and security.
- Document IT configurations, policies, and troubleshooting procedures for future reference.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess HND / B.Sc Degrees with 3+ years of relevant work experience.
