Job description: Job Description:About Company: Our client is a startup technology company that offers software integration, software development, and technology consulting services to major financial institutions in Nigeria.Job Summary: The Company is seeking to hire a talented Java Developer who will design, develop and maintain Java-based applications.The successful candidate must have hands-on experience in software development using Java frameworks and a strong understanding of software development best practices.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop and maintain Java-based applications.Write clean, scalable, and efficient code.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement new features and functionality.Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to coding standards.Troubleshoot and debug applications, conduct root cause analysis, and implement solutions.Work closely with QA teams to ensure thorough testing of software solutions and resolve any reported bugs or issues.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Java development and related technologies.RequirementsKey Requirements:B.Sc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or in any related field.1+ Year of experience in Java, including knowledge of frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, and J2EE.Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java AA platforms.Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.Profound insight into Java and JEE internals (Class-loading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc).Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate).Experience as a Sun Certified Java Developer.Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC).Experience with test-driven development.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.BenefitsCompensation: Base pay is BTW N200k – N3ook monthly net + other interesting benefits
