- Carry out process engineering studies and provide assistance to any process activity needed to support operations at site.
- Follow up on implementation of Site Modification Request (SMRs) from initiation to completion
- Conduct process studies to support Field Operations in order to optimize production for Onshore/Offshore sites.
- Review & Contribute to formulation of Operating Philosophy for new projects
- Review & Contribute to formulation of Operations Manual for new projects and review/update existing ones
- Provide Process design and know-how within JV Operations and other Departments and Divisions
- Ensure that Process Documentation & Design complies with COMPANY Rules and Specifications and with International Standards and that it is kept updated
- Ensure that all updated documents are sent to EDMS for processing
- Provide process support for Onshore/Offshore commissioning, Start-up, Ramp-up & Shutdown
- Ensure contact with process specialists in HQ and liaise with HQ for interaction of new Projects with existing facilities
- Provide process assistance to Onshore/Offshore Operations for technical operating problems
- Contribute to technical know-how of the team by coaching and supervising junior engineers
- Provide assistance for any process activities across production sites as directed by Manager Process/SMR
- Conduct process engineering studies to support development projects
- Undertake de-bottleneck studies and recommend solutions to optimize existing installations (Safety, Environmental, Production, etc)
- Carry out effective process design studies for SMR
- Provide effective and timely response to technical queries / SMRs
- Participate in site visits, pre-studies and basic studies for process-related modifications to existing installations:
- Ensure that all SMRs are carried out according to TEPNG SMR procedure and within a defined timeline
- Track implementation of all SMRs through to completion
- Participate in PTR / HAZOP / HAZID meetings
- Support Contractors to prepare Scope of Work or review/validate process studies by Contractors
- Follow-up on the implementation of SMRs with ECP and Site personnel through regular/periodic progress discussions and site visits.
Requirements
- B. Eng in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering (or equivalent).
- Professional Experience (number of years) : 8+ years in Process Engineering Studies
- Specialist applications: PROII, HYSIS and International standards.

- Liaise with public institutions to secure NAFDAC permits and approvals for import.
- Relate with users to advise availability of relevant import permits and process permit requests.
- Follow up of freight forwarding and local clearing agents’ invoices.
- Pre-vet freight forwarding and local clearing agents’ invoices before submission to Finance and Accounts department.
- Process freight forwarding agents and local clearing agents’ invoices on web cycle invoice processing tool.
- Participate in service quality meetings with foreign freight forwarding agents and local clearing agents.
- Participate in meetings with local clearing agents on issues and policies impacting on Transit operations.
- Participate in CFT preparation for freight forwarding and local clearing agents’ Call-off contract.
- Participate in Post CFT negotiation.
- Recover container deposit refunds from local clearing agents.
- Transmit container deposit refund cheques to Finance & Accounts department.
- Participate in ABS 13-1 duet monthly meeting.
- Prepare sea / air freight cost estimates to advice Management in granting approval for change of mode of transport.
- Prepare sea / air freight and clearing cost estimates when requested by buyers to facilitate decision making in the purchasing process.
- Prepare departmental weekly report and monthly dashboard in line with Company rules.
- Prepare quarterly and yearly total freight cost report.
- Prepare monthly CP3 report
- Prepare monthly cost savings report
- Prepare monthly ABS report
- Prepare minutes of Transit departmental meetings and meetings with partners /vendors.
- Update Entity file with freight forwarding and local clearing agents invoice values.
- Ensure adequate record keeping of invoices, container deposit refund and NAFDAC related documentations.
- Create purchase orders on E-transit.
- Any other activity or Service function assigned to me by the Manager of the Department.
Requirements
- Graduate in Management or Social Sciences discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Shipping activities
- Basic knowledge of SAP, MS Excel and MS Word.

- Promote Diversity and Inclusion in the work environment at least 4 programs per year.

- Assist with reviews of studies and surveys, publish results as it concerns Diversity and PTM on the PTM Web portal and COMPANY WAT portal
- Ensure contents on the PTM web portal is accurate and up to date by regularly reviewing the web pages and working with the Workplace wellbeing and governance Lead to coordinate and update when necessary
- Attend events organized by other IOCs, Downstream etc to share experiences and improve areas of Diversity & Inclusion
- Maintain archive of records/information published
- Adherence to the Group’s cost reduction and management philosophy without a negative impact on quality and relevance
- Generates data and analysis on associated costs from the diversity campaigns and proposes improvement and cost optimization initiatives.
Requirements
- Graduate in the Arts or Humanities or Social Sciences with 3 – 6 years of post qualification experience, preferably in Human resources or External Relations. Oil and Gas industry experience an added advantage.
- Good problem solving, innovative, communication, presentation and analytical skills and, proficiency in MS tools is required
- Relationship and team building skills essential to working relationships with staff of diverse ethnic and international background.
