- We are looking for a creative and result-driven Marketing & Communication Specialist to help grow Wakafoods’ digital footprint, manage brand communications, and drive customer engagement through strategic content creation, campaigns, and digital promotions.
- This role is ideal for someone passionate about brand storytelling, social media, and strategic marketing, who wants to work in a fast-growing food-tech company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to boost customer acquisition and brand awareness.
- Manage Wakafoods’ social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn) with engaging content, consistent updates, and community engagement.
- Collaborate on branding and communication strategies to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
- Create compelling marketing content: graphics, text, promotional offers, email campaigns, blog posts, and press releases.
- Coordinate influencer marketing, collaborations, and digital partnerships to grow the Wakafoods brand.
- Analyze marketing performance and engagement data and prepare periodic reports to guide marketing decisions.
- Support both online and offline marketing activities including promotions, events, and special campaigns.
- Work closely with the Sales and Vendor Onboarding Teams to ensure campaigns align with business goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business, or related fields.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role (preferably in e-commerce, food delivery, hospitality, or FMCG).
- Strong knowledge of social media marketing, paid ads, email marketing, and digital trends.
- Graphic design and content creation skills (e.g. Canva, Adobe Suite) are a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to think creatively and analytically.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound customer, vendor, and rider inquiries via phone, chat, email, and social platforms.
- Provide real-time assistance and resolve issues such as order tracking, payment confirmation, and delivery concerns.
- Act as a bridge between customers, vendors, and riders to ensure smooth communication.
- Manage customer complaints with empathy, professionalism, and efficiency.
- Ensure proper documentation of issues and resolutions on internal systems.
- Monitor order flows on the Admin Dashboard and proactively resolve delivery delays or failed orders.
- Escalate technical and unresolved issues to relevant departments.

Requirements
- Minimum of an HND or Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant field.
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service or a similar role (experience in the food delivery industry is a plus).

- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

- As part of our rapid expansion, we are looking for smart, energetic, and persuasive individuals to join our field marketing team as Offline Marketers / Merchant Onboarders.
- As an Offline Marketer at Wakafoods, you will be at the frontline of expanding our vendor network.
- Your primary job is to visit food businesses, introduce them to the Wakafoods platform, and onboard them as active vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify potential food vendors, restaurants, street food sellers, home kitchens, wine stores, confectioneries, and introduce them to Wakafoods.
- Educate merchants on the benefits of partnering with Wakafoods and how the platform can help them grow their customer base and sales.
- Guide and support merchants through the onboarding process — from registration to menu upload.
- Follow up with interested vendors to ensure complete registration and menu setup.
- Achieve weekly and monthly merchant sign-up targets.
- Collect feedback from vendors and relay it to the Operations team for continuous platform improvement.
- Represent Wakafoods at field events, vendor meetings, and local food business clusters.
- Collaborate with the marketing and support team to ensure merchant satisfaction post-onboarding.
Requirements
- Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or any related field with 2 – 5 years of work experience.
- Experience in field marketing, sales, or customer relationship management is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
