Job Title: Lead Preparator

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Employment type: Permanent

Position Summary

Responsibilities

The position we are offering involves the following main tasks:

  • Supervise the completion of all documentation activities.
  • Take delivery in accordance with the design documents (plans and specifications);
  • Ensure that the time required to complete tasks is assessed and that the conditions necessary for the work to be carried out properly are identified (availability of equipment, upstream activities, etc.);
  • Organize the planning, scheduling and quantitative and qualitative monitoring of activities;
  • Ensures that the recommended management tools are used correctly;
  • Carry out assignments in accordance with the Group’s safety and quality procedures and in compliance with objectives in terms of deadlines, budgets and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure that the operating procedures are carried out in accordance with the environment and the conditions under which the work is carried out, in compliance with the required safety, quality and productivity conditions;

Requirements

  • You have a technical training in mechanics and boiler making, or as a young methods engineer in one of our business areas. 
  • You have strong leadership with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • You are proficient in Pack Office and computer-aided design and drafting software (AUTOCAD).
  • A good level of technical understanding of English is desirable.
  • You have at least 5 to 10 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • You have knowledge of technical fields (piping, mechanics, structure, etc.).
