Job Title: Logistics and Admin Officer

Location: Rivers

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Logistics and Admin Officer will be responsible for overseeing the coordination of personnel, transportation, and administrative support to ensure seamless work execution. 
  • This role ensures efficient logistical operations, workforce mobilization and compliance with NLNG’s administrative policies.
  • The incumbent will liaise with multiple departments, ensuring that all logistics and administrative processes support the timely and cost-effective execution of Fabric Maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage workforce mobilization, accommodation, and catering arrangements forpersonnel.
  • Ensure all travel documentation, work permits, and security clearances are processed in compliance with NLNG’s policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of personnel movements, duty rosters, and site access logs.
  • Oversee the movement of personnel and equipment to and from work sites
  • Maintain clear communication with project engineers/manager, contractors, and  operations teams to align logistics with project schedules
  • Ensure timely delivery of tools and consumables needed for fabric maintenance and projects.
  • Act as the focal point for admin-related requests, including office supplies, meeting coordination, and document control.
  • Ensure all logistics and administrative operations align with NLNG’s HSE policies, security guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences, Logistics, Engineering, Technology or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems that support Logistics
  • Experience working with compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • 3 years of experience in administration within the LNG, oil & gas, or industrial sectors.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Logistics management systems.
