The opportunity
- As a Tax Services Manager, you will be a part of our Indirect Tax Practice.
- You will be part of a team who identifies planning opportunities to help clients minimize their tax burden as well as fulfill compliance responsibilities and avoid penalties.

Your key responsibilities
- As a manager, you will advise on multiple and challenging indirect tax advisory engagements and to contribute to the delivery of innovative tax planning ideas for our diverse clients.
To qualify for the role you must have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Law
- Professional accounting (CPA) or legal designation
- Manager: a minimum of 6 years of relevant indirect tax experience or equivalent experience in business or industry
- Extensive experience with GST/QST
- Excellent managerial, organizational and written communication skills.
Skills and attributes for success:
- Effectively applying indirect tax knowledge to situations affecting clients.
- Suggesting practical and innovative solutions to clients and reaching relevant conclusions. Leading development of recommendations and solution implementation plans and using professional judgment in making informed decisions on complex issues.
- Participating and assisting in reaching Client Service Teams’ goals.
- Collaborating on business development initiatives in specific industries targeting practice growth
- Drafting tax alerts about changes to legislation and regulations or following policy statements or judgements.
- Identifying opportunities to sell refund and recovery services.
- Managing audits while maintaining effective client relationships.
