- The Inventory Intern will support the Inventory Department in maintaining accurate stock records, assisting with stock audits, and ensuring smooth inventory operations.
- This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual seeking hands-on experience in inventory management within a fast-paced retail and pharmaceutical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in receiving, labeling, and organizing incoming stock
- Update inventory records in the system under supervision
- Participate in periodic stock counts and reconciliation exercises
- Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies to the Inventory Officer or Manager
- Help track product expiry dates and support the removal of expired or damaged goods
- Support inter-branch stock transfers and documentation
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the inventory storage area
- Collaborate with procurement, pharmacy, and floor teams to ensure stock accuracy
- Perform other administrative or inventory-related tasks as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
- OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Accounting, or related field
- 0-2 years work experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of inventory systems or Microsoft Excel is an advantage
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
- Integrity and a high sense of responsibility.
