- You’re a proven leader with 7+ years of experience in entrepreneurship, consulting, agribusiness, rural development, or NGO management.
- You’re experienced in senior management, with a track record of developing and leading high-performing teams.
- You’re strategic and analytical, comfortable with setting and communicating long-term impact strategies.
- You’re passionate about farmer-first innovation, with experience in designing, testing, and scaling agricultural programs.
- You’re skilled in building partnerships with government bodies, commercial entities, and donor organizations.
- You’re a strong communicator with fluency in written and spoken English.
Your responsibilities…
- You will drive innovation, research, and partnerships strategy, ensuring a fivefold expansion of Nigeria operations.
- You will lead the design, trial, and evaluation of new agricultural products and services to maximize impact on farmer livelihoods.
- You will manage Innovation & Research teams, focusing on integrating youth and female farmers into programs.
- You will oversee impact assessment, shifting from short-term farm-season measurements to long-term sustainability metrics.
- You will develop and maintain strategic partnerships, including government collaborations and commercial partnerships.
- You will work closely with global and local teams to support business development and fundraising efforts.
- You will manage budgets, forecasts, and performance tracking, ensuring operational efficiency and financial sustainability.
- You will hire, mentor, and develop a strong, mission-driven team to execute our growth strategy.
To be considered, you should have…
- 7+ years of experience in agriculture, business leadership, consulting, or NGO management.
- 2+ years in senior management, with expertise in team leadership and performance management.
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with a track record of driving innovation in agriculture.
- Experience in research and development, field trials, and impact evaluation.
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in developing partnerships with government agencies, private sector players, and donor organizations.
