Carrying out a hand over if another uses the\u00a0vehicle.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring the security of passengers in the vehicle, driving carefully, observing\u00a0MSF-OCA\u00a0speed limits and traffic\u00a0rules in Nigeria, as well as\u00a0MSF\u00a0security rules, in\u00a0order to avoid car accidents.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring all passengers have all necessary papers in order before travelling, and ensuring non\u00a0MSF\u00a0staff sign\u00a0disclaimers of responsibility before using the vehicle.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring correct loading and unloading of the vehicle, submitting documents associated with transported goods\u00a0to the recipient, checking the status of delivered goods, returning the duly completed documents\u00a0associated with\u00a0transported goods\u00a0to Logistics,\u00a0and ensuring that the goods have the necessary documents.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that all vehicle documents and\u00a0driver\u2019s license are valid,\u00a0and\u00a0are\u00a0in the vehicle\u00a0for possible\u00a0inspection by\u00a0road\/vehicle inspection agencies.<\/li>\n<li>Informing the line manager of any incident involving the transportation of passengers and\/or goods.<\/li>\n<li>Knowing how to use all types of radios, codes, call numbers and radio alphabets by heart and communicating\u00a0with base according to\u00a0MSF\u00a0communications policy to inform the driver\u2019s position and any potential implications.<\/li>\n<li>Knowing and respecting the security\u00a0rules related to vehicle movements, specifically those related to customs,\u00a0checkpoints,\u00a0roadblocks\u00a0and curfew. Ensuring all passengers know and respect the security rules<\/li>\n<li>Carry out any other task that may\u00a0be assisgned by line supervisor or manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Context Specific\u00a0Accountabilities\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good use and interpretation of\u00a0Maps (Online, Offline,\u00a0Hardcopy), and\u00a0GPS.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure to keep a\u00a0good decent physical appearance always, and use\u00a0close ended shoes, while driving\u00a0MSF vehicles.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure\u00a0comprehensive\u00a0handover\u00a0is\u00a0conducted\u00a0between\u00a0drivers,\u00a0before\u00a0ending\u00a0and\u00a0starting\u00a0a\u00a0duty\/shift.<\/li>\n<li>Renewal of\u00a0your driver\u2019s licence before it expiration.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with Radio room or line supervisors\/manager for task scheduled\u00a0for the day or period, when\u00a0resuming for duty or\u00a0work.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure\u00a0to be calm, polite and respectful while responding to\u00a0vehicle\u00a0bookings\/reservations by\u00a0passengers via phone calls\u00a0or physically, and when communicating with passengers.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out\u00a0weekly checks on vehicles\u00a0in collaboration with\u00a0Head\u00a0of Drivers\u00a0\/\u00a0Mechanic\u00a0\/ Line Supervisor.<\/li>\n<li>Vehicle\u00a0maintenance should be\u00a0monitored to know when it close to it service km\/period.<\/li>\n<li>Respect\u00a0of\u00a0defined\u00a0MSF\u00a0speed limits.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure vehicle doors\u00a0are locked when passengers\u00a0enter the vehicle. This should be done\u00a0before\u00a0driving.<\/li>\n<li>Seat belts\u00a0should be\u00a0worn by all passengers before driving.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure to get a very clear description of your destination, before driving. If not clear, ask for clarity\u00a0using landmarks, maps or direction from colleagues or passenger, before embarking on a trip or\u00a0movement.<\/li>\n<li>Proper\u00a0record\u00a0of\u00a0movements\u00a0with clear\u00a0name, destination, time\u00a0and signature of passengers on the\u00a0vehicle logbook.<\/li>\n<li>Fuel dispensed into vehicle should be\u00a0clearly recorded in the vehicle\u2019s fuel log book.<\/li>\n<li>Every equipment or tool\u00a0handed over in\u00a0the vehicle should be\u00a0carefully used. Equipment and tools in\u00a0the vehicle are not to be taking out for personal use or used in another vehicle without approval from\u00a0line supervisor or manager.<\/li>\n<li>Adhereance to\u00a0operational instructions and\u00a0responsibilities given by the Radio operator\u00a0\/ Line\u00a0Supervisors \/ Line Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Communication of\u00a0every vehicular movement with the radio room.
