The successful candidates will be responsible for arranging and formatting text and images, ensuring accuracy and consistency in book layouts, and producing high-quality publications that meet the company\u2019s standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Creatively format texts by applying appropriate font styles, sizes, and spacing, according to specifications to enhance readability and comprehension for readers.<\/li>\n<li>Artistically create layout designs for various publications, and strategically arranging text within columns, pages, and sections to ensure consistency in fonts and designs while adhering to the publisher&#8217;s branding guidelines.<\/li>\n<li>Diligently perform thorough proofreading to identify and correct typographical errors, grammatical mistakes, and formatting issues to ensure accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Seamlessly incorporate visuals, graphics, and illustrations into the material to enrich the design and enhance the reader\u2019s engagement.<\/li>\n<li>Carefully maintain accurate word breaks and spacing to achieve well-structured and neatly aligned columns.<\/li>\n<li>Effectively use typesetting software and desktop publishing tools, such as MS Word &amp; CorelDraw to efficiently execute layout and formatting tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Actively collaborate with editors, graphic artists, and other publishing team members to ensure a smooth transition of design concepts into finished publications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification &amp; Required Skills \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Applicants must be computer literate, proficient in the use of typesetting software and desktop publishing tools, and possess WAEC\/NECO certificate.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in the use of MS Word and CorelDraw is mandatory<\/li>\n<li>Possession of National Diploma (ND) in Computer Science, Office Management and Technology or any other related discipline with experience in desktop publishing will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of two (2) years cognate experience in typesetting with a publishing company or in a related company<\/li>\n<li>Applicants must be detail-oriented, knowledgeable about fonts, and possess an understanding of graphic design.<\/li>\n<li>Not more than 35 years of age<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate in English Language<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Good mannerism with high social skills, integrity and strength of character<\/li>\n<li>Applicants must be resident in Ibadan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"application-method\" style=\"margin-top:10px; color: #069;\" class=\"mag-b ts-18 bm-t-0 bm-b-5 \"><b>Method of Application <\/b><\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"mag-b bm-b-30\">\n<p>Interested and qualified?
