The role ensures efficient workforce management, proper agronomic practices, high productivity, and adherence to quality standards.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Field &amp; Greenhouse Operations<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise all activities related to habanero (open field) and bell pepper (greenhouse) production<\/li>\n<li>Ensure proper land preparation, transplanting, irrigation, staking, pruning, and harvesting<\/li>\n<li>Monitor crop health and ensure timely pest and disease control measures<\/li>\n<li>Implement fertilizer and spray programs as directed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Workforce Supervision<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assign daily tasks to farm workers and ensure work is completed efficiently<\/li>\n<li>Monitor attendance, punctuality, and performance of workers<\/li>\n<li>Train new and existing workers on farm practices and standards<\/li>\n<li>Enforce discipline and safety compliance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Crop Monitoring &amp; Reporting<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Regularly inspect crops for pests, diseases, nutrient deficiencies, and water stress<\/li>\n<li>Keep accurate records of farm activities (planting, spraying, harvesting, labor, inputs)<\/li>\n<li>Provide daily\/weekly reports to management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Input &amp; Resource Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure proper use and handling of seeds, fertilizers, chemicals, and tools<\/li>\n<li>Monitor stock levels and report shortages on time<\/li>\n<li>Prevent wastage, theft, or misuse of farm inputs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Irrigation &amp; Greenhouse Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee irrigation schedules for both field and greenhouse<\/li>\n<li>Ensure proper greenhouse conditions (temperature, humidity, ventilation)<\/li>\n<li>Maintain irrigation systems (drip lines, pumps, etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Harvesting &amp; Post-Harvest Handling<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise harvesting to ensure quality and minimize losses<\/li>\n<li>Ensure proper sorting, grading, and packaging of produce<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with logistics for timely movement of produce<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Education &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of OND\/HND\/BSc in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related field (preferred)<\/li>\n<li>2\u20135 years experience in vegetable farming (especially peppers)<\/li>\n<li>Experience with both open-field and greenhouse farming is an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills &amp; Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong knowledge of pepper production (habanero and bell pepper)<\/li>\n<li>Good leadership and workforce management skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to identify pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies<\/li>\n<li>Record-keeping and basic reporting skills<\/li>\n<li>Problem-solving and decision-making ability<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure and meet targets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Yield per hectare \/ per greenhouse<\/li>\n<li>Labor productivity and efficiency<\/li>\n<li>Crop health and loss reduction<\/li>\n<li>Timeliness of farm operations<\/li>\n<li>Input usage efficiency<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Combination of outdoor fieldwork and greenhouse supervision<\/li>\n<li>May require long hours during peak farming periods<\/li>\n<li>Physically demanding role<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"application-method\" style=\"margin-top:10px;
