Monthly Net Salary: 250,000OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer to join our growing team in Lekki, Lagos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and uptime. You will play a vital role in proactive problem detection, issue escalation, and ensuring the reliability of our IT and telecommunications systems.Key Responsibilities

• Perform general system administration tasks on all elements of the network

• Discover problem areas which could negatively impact system performance or customer satisfaction

• Pro‐actively monitor network and system performance

• Analyze traffic data and trends and escalate areas of concern to the network design authority

• Escalate problems to third level support (Problem management team) where these cannot be resolved within the Network Operations Centre (NOC)

• Perform general system administration tasks on all elements of the network

• Perform network surveillance 24/7, respond to network‐reported and customer‐reported problems

• Take ownership to ensure that all problems are resolved in a timely and efficient manner

• Manage problem resolution using network monitoring/management tools

• Monitor key suppliers service levels and highlight where Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are not being met

Requirements & QualificationsEducation:
BSc or HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical disciplineExperience:
Minimum of 2 4 years experience in a NOC, network operations, or technical support roleCertifications:

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) required

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) added advantage

Technical Skills

• In-depth knowledge of network technologies such as DWDM/OTN, PtP/PtMP Microwave

• Proficient with network diagnostic tools like OTDR, E-Analyzer, and SDH Analyzer

• Experience managing Cisco switches and general IP networking

• Strong understanding of Fixed Wireless Communications Technology

• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot across multiple layers of the OSI model

• Familiarity with ticketing systems and NOC monitoring tools

• Capable of making solid, fact-based decisions under pressure

• Technical experience in a telecommunications or network operations environment

• Very Good understanding of Fixed Wireless communications Technology

Soft Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work well in an international, multi-cultural, and high-pressure technical environment

• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, especially under pressure

• Highly disciplined and capable of working with minimal supervision
