Job Brief

  • We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our pharmaceutical team.
  • The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and quality dispensing of medications, providing drug-related information to healthcare professionals and clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting overall pharmaceutical operations within the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescription and non-prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide professional advice on proper use, dosage, side effects, and interactions of drugs.
  • Maintain accurate records of medications, controlled substances, and pharmaceutical inventory.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on drugs to confirm safety and effectiveness.
  • Manage pharmaceutical documentation, including prescription logs and regulatory reports.
  • Train and supervise pharmacy technicians or assistants as required.
  • Participate in health awareness programs and patient education initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards (NAFDAC, PCN, etc.).
  • Supervise the receipt, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical products.
  • Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) Degree.
  • Current license and registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and Microsoft Office Suite is an advantage
  • 2 – 5 years relevant experience in a retail, hospital, or pharmaceutical company.
  • Strong knowledge of drug formulations, interactions, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Salary

N220,000 – N250,000 / Month.
