Job Title: Portfolio Manager
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Job Overview
- As a Portfolio Manager, you will design and manage tailored investment strategies as well as fiduciary products for clients, focusing on fixed income mandates and optimal portfolio performance.
- You will collaborate closely with clients to align financial goals, monitor the markets, and deliver superior investment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute customized investment strategies
- Manage mandates involving fixed income securities
- Collaborate in product distribution and sales efforts
- Mentor junior team members to enhance team capacity
- Prepare periodic performance and regulatory reports (SEC compliance)
- Conduct client meetings to assess objectives and recommend portfolio options
- Monitor financial markets for data-driven decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
- CIS certification or a Master’s degree is an added advantage
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in a reputable asset or fund management firm
- Strong understanding of fixed income markets and financial instruments
