Job Description

  • We are looking for enthusiastic, qualified, and experienced Primary School Teachers to join our dynamic and child-centered learning environment.
  • You will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students aged 6 to 11 years, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across key subjects including English, Mathematics, Science, and Humanities.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages active learning and respect.
  • Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving through interactive and student-centered teaching.
  • Contribute to the broader school community through extracurricular activities, school events, and collaborative initiatives.
  • Uphold school policies, including those relating to safeguarding, behavior management, and health & safety.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the varying needs, abilities, and learning styles of all pupils.
  • Maintain accurate records of student achievements and report regularly to school leadership and parents.

Requirements

  • A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed, PGCE, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience teaching children aged 6 to 11 years in a primary school setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and inclusive lesson plans and learning environments.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a proactive teaching approach.
  • Deep understanding of child development and age-appropriate pedagogical practices.

Desirable (Added Advantage):

  • Experience teaching the British National Curriculum (Key Stages 1 and/or 2).
  • Knowledge of phonics-based approaches (e.g., Jolly Phonics, Read Write Inc.).
  • Familiarity with formative and summative assessment methods used in British curriculum schools.
  • Experience working in an international or multicultural school setting.
  • Use of technology and digital tools to enhance learning.
