- Responsible for supporting execution and implementation with direction from leadership on vision and day-to-day tasks.
Responsibilities
Category Management:
- Provides support in category negotiations to gain professional expertise
- Support the creation of Request for Quotes (RFQs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs), confirming accuracy and completeness in documentation
- Assist in supplier communication and follow-up during the sourcing process
- Participate in basic negotiations with suppliers to achieve favorable terms
Strategic Sourcing:
- Support in the execution of sourcing strategy for category
- Assist in collecting and analyzing data related to category performance, market trends, and supplier performance
- Support the development of category strategies under the guidance of senior team members
- Identify potential suppliers, conduct basic supplier assessments, and maintain supplier information
Demand / Supply Chain Planning:
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure availability of goods/services
- Help in generating basic demand forecasts to support procurement decisions
- Collaborate with supply chain team to ensure timely delivery of materials
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience is required.
