Job Position: Procurement Lead

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Procurement Lead to join our dynamic Operations team. 
  • In this role, you will manage procurement activities related to raw materials and components for production-ensuring timely delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness. 
  • You will be instrumental in maintaining supplier relationships, evaluating bids, negotiating contracts, and keeping procurement documentation accurate and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain strong relationships with new and existing suppliers.
  • Complete procurement documentation within the shortest authorized timeframe.
  • Ensure all materials are delivered within 4 working days of request.
  • Prepare daily procurement tracking reports.
  • Ensure handover of materials to the Store department with proper documentation (e.g., signed waybills, invoices).
  • Verify all procured materials meet company quality standards.
  • Issue and track purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of requested materials.
  • Work closely with the Store’s and Logistics teams for seamless material requests, delivery, and storage.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities, contracts, and invoices.
  • Support supplier audits and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure clear, error-free documentation and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Participate in professional development and relevant training.
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned by your line manager.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Academic Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 8 years in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  • A higher degree or professional certificate is an added advantage.
  • Membership in relevant professional associations is a plus.

  • Market intelligence and supplier evaluation ability
  • Team player with a proactive mindset
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure.

Salary
N550,000 – N600,000 monthly
