- We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Procurement Lead to join our dynamic Operations team.
- In this role, you will manage procurement activities related to raw materials and components for production-ensuring timely delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- You will be instrumental in maintaining supplier relationships, evaluating bids, negotiating contracts, and keeping procurement documentation accurate and up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain strong relationships with new and existing suppliers.
- Complete procurement documentation within the shortest authorized timeframe.
- Ensure all materials are delivered within 4 working days of request.
- Prepare daily procurement tracking reports.
- Ensure handover of materials to the Store department with proper documentation (e.g., signed waybills, invoices).
- Verify all procured materials meet company quality standards.
- Issue and track purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of requested materials.
- Work closely with the Store’s and Logistics teams for seamless material requests, delivery, and storage.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities, contracts, and invoices.
- Support supplier audits and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements.
- Ensure clear, error-free documentation and effective communication with stakeholders.
- Participate in professional development and relevant training.
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by your line manager.
Qualifications
- Minimum Academic Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 8 years in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- A higher degree or professional certificate is an added advantage.
- Membership in relevant professional associations is a plus.
