They are seeking a motivated and results-driven Procurement Manager with 5 years of experience to oversee the procurement of services essential to the agency’s operations. This includes sourcing vendors, creative materials, technology tools, third-party services, and any other resources required. The ideal candidate will work closely with the finance, operations, and creative teams to ensure the procurement process is efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with the agency’s growth objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement Strategy and PlanningVendor Management and Relationship BuildingBudget and Cost ControlRisk Management and ComplianceCross Functional CollaborationDevelop and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with the agency’s growth and operational needs.Analyze agency needs for various services and materials (e.g., creative software, digital tools, marketing services, office supplies) and ensure that procurement strategies are in place to meet these demands.Ensure procurement practices reflect the agency’s values of sustainability, cost-efficiency, and quality.Identify, evaluate, and build relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure high-quality services at cost effective prices.Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms, conditions, and pricing structures.Develop long-term, collaborative relationships with key vendors, influencers and external partners.Monitor procurement budgets and ensure that purchasing activities remain within budgetary constraints.Identify cost-saving opportunities, implement best practices in sourcing, and make recommendations for continuous cost optimization.Work with finance to track and report procurement-related expenses.Ensure that all procurement activities comply with agency policies, as well as relevant legal and regulatory requirements.Implement processes to mitigate risks associated with vendor contracts, service disruptions, and procurement delays.Work closely with creative, marketing, IT, and finance teams to understand their needs and ensure procurement aligns with project requirements.Provide procurement advice and support to various departments as required, ensuring efficient communication and project execution.Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, and Marketing
- Certification in Procurement (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS))
- 5+ years of experience in procurement management, with a focus on services (media, creative production, etc.).
- Proven experience negotiating contracts and managing international vendor relationships.
- Strong understanding of procurement best practices, supply chain management, and cross-border trade regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
