Job Locations: Minna – Niger & Ilorin / Offa – Kwara
Employment Type: Full-timeResponsibilities
- Coordinate the overall strategy of the purchasing department, formulate purchasing plan and budget, and optimise the supplier resource pool.
- Performing all procurement activities including pre-qualification, negotiating supplier agreements, preparation of contracts and tender management
- Leading bulk purchase negotiation,, ensuring supply chain stability and cost control.
- Delegating tasks and supervising the work of Purchasing
- Identifying emerging markets to find new opportunities
- Document and report on daily operations and production metrics
- Supervise the operation of the business team and dispatching team (customer maintenance, procurement negotiation, fleet dispatching).
Requirements
- Must be a BSc/HND holder in Purchasing/Supply, Marketing or any Mining related courses
- Must have a cognate experience in sales/procurement (at least 3 years)
- Must have worked or have experience in a mining firm
- Must be computer literate
- Must have managerial experience with good quality leadership traits.
