- We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage the company’s procurement and supply chain operations.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, expediting purchase orders, and ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery of goods and services.
- This role requires a strong understanding of procurement processes within the Oil & Gas/EPC sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the procurement cycle from requisition to delivery.
- Prepare, review, and expedite purchase orders to guarantee timely supply.
- Source and evaluate vendors while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
- Negotiate favorable terms and contracts to maximize cost savings.
- Monitor and manage inventory, ensuring availability of critical items.
- Collaborate with finance to reconcile invoices and ensure timely vendor payments.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulations.
- Support budget planning and cost-control measures.
Experience and Skills
- B.Sc. in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role.
- Experience in Oil & Gas / EPC industry is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
- Proficiency in procurement and ERP software.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and reporting.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Professional certification (CIPS or equivalent) is a strong advantage.
Salary
N300,000 – N400,000 Monthly.Method of Application
