- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Sourcing Specialist to manage our sourcing operations, with a strong focus on heavy-duty equipment and machinery.
- The ideal candidate will bring strategic procurement expertise, strong analytical acumen, and excellent negotiation skills to support cost-effective sourcing and vendor management efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for heavy-duty equipment and related machinery.
- Conduct thorough cost and financial analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Evaluate and manage supplier performance through KPIs, audits, and continuous improvement strategies.
- Lead end-to-end procurement processes, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and purchase execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with procurement objectives.
- Utilize ERP and procurement systems to track purchasing activities and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor market trends and supply chain risks that may impact sourcing decisions.
- Resolve supplier issues and disputes promptly to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc Degree
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a similar procurement or sourcing role.
- Strong background in sourcing and selling heavy-duty equipment and machinery.
- Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to prepare financial reports and conduct cost analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement tools and software, particularly ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with global sourcing practices and vendor compliance requirements.
