Enyimba Economic City (EEC) is a 9464 Hectares of Work, Live, Learn and Play City designed to have economics of agglomeration, environmentally conscious, efficient and sustainable centre of South-South/South-East of Nigeria. It is an investment destination created to leverage on the opportunities Nigeria offers to bring about job creation and regional development through industrialization. It is a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) under the Made In Nigeria for Export (MINE) programme of Federal Government of Nigeria. It will have a Free Trade Zone Status.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Program Coordinator

Location: Abuja

Employment Type: Full Time

Role Overview

  • This role is critical to building the business case, emotional and cultural resonance necessary for the launch and subsequent growth of EECDG Infra Fund.
  • The Program Coordinator will serve as the primary liaison between the EECDG Infra Fund and its investor communities, including local, regional, continental, and global communities.
  • The Program Coordinator must be able to embody and communicate the global aspirations of the South-East region and Nigeria.
  • The Individual should be able to function as a strategic bridge, conveying the EECDG Infra Fund’s message with clarity, cultural fluency, and persuasive vision.

Key Responsibilities

Community Building & Engagement:

  • Identify, onboard, and engage investor groups both locally and internationally across priority countries, including Nigeria, USA, UK, Canada, China, South Africa, Germany, etc.
  • Establish and grow strong digital and physical communities (e.g., WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, LinkedIn, mailing lists, etc.) based on geography, demography, and interest.
  • Nurture relationships with active and passive investors through consistent, high-value content and interaction.
  • Provide direct support, feedback, and information to community members on investment opportunities, project updates, and milestones.
  • Design and manage engagement calendars, community events, and webinars that drive awareness and investment interest.

Content & Communication:

  • Collaborate with the content and design teams to co-create culturally aligned messaging, visuals, and narratives.
  • Curate and distribute investor newsletters, video updates, testimonials, success stories, and regional spotlights.
  • Monitor and moderate all community channels in line with the project’s brand tone and vision.

Investor Conversion & Retention:

  • Collaborate with the marketing teams to convert leads generated from campaigns into active investors.
  • Leverage community insights to optimize investor onboarding and retention.
  • Monitor investor sentiment and provide intelligence to improve communication and product development.

Outreach, Representation & Events:

  • Represent EECDG Infra Fund at relevant cultural, economic, and diaspora events, conferences, and webinars globally.
  • Identify strategic community events and lead EECDG Infra Fund’s participation.
  • Work with diaspora associations, town unions, business councils, and professional networks to amplify the EECDG Infra Fund message.

Qualification

  • A degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Development Studies, or a related field. An MBA or a Master’s in Development Studies will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in development management, investor engagement, or stakeholder relations.
  • Experience building and growing grassroots or diaspora communities (especially among Southeasterners, Nigerian, and African audiences)

Soft Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal, intercultural, and vibrant engagement skills.
  • Emotionally intelligent with a natural ability to build trust.
  • Culturally rooted in the Southeast and Nigeria.

Digital & Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in managing communities on WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook Groups, Discord, etc.
  • Experience with tools like Mailchimp, Notion, Airtable, Google Workspace, and CRM systems.
  • Competent in using Zoom, StreamYard, and hosting webinars or virtual town halls.
