The Nigeria Key Populations Health and Rights Network (NKPHRN) is a network of key population-led networks working to promote the rights, respect and dignity of key, vulnerable and marginalized populations in Nigeria. It represents and celebrates the broad and vibrant diversity of key populations (KPS) across all regions of the country. It strives to be fully inclusive of sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, health status, physical ability, age, chosen profession, and linguistic, cultural, or religious identity or affiliation.

Job Title: Program Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

  • The Program Officer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring programs that promote the health and rights of key populations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and monitor programs focused on key population health and rights.
  • Prepare program reports, proposals, and impact assessments.
  • Ensure adherence to project goals and funding requirements.
  • Engage with stakeholders, partners, and communities for program delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
  • Strong project management, research, and advocacy skills.
  • Knowledge of key population health and rights issues in Nigeria.
  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in program implementation in an NGO setting.
