In 2010, we began as Nigeria’s premier innovation center, dedicated to accelerating the application of social capital and technology for economic prosperity in Nigeria. We have since grown our physical presence to five cities (Lagos, Abuja, Kigali, Nairobi, and Windhoek) across Africa, and we work closely with stakeholders – including entrepreneurs, civil society organizations, government, and private sector – to identify and nurture novel solutions to social challenges in Africa.In 2017, Co-Creation HUB launched Growth Capital in partnership with Omidyar Network, Bank of Industry, and Venture Garden Group to provide early-stage funding for startups driving social change. In February 2019, Co-creation HUB opened a Design Lab in Kigali, Rwanda, focusing on Research and Development and Human-Centered Design to enable innovation for social impact. Our Kigali Centre collaborates with global stakeholders to explore the application of technology in addressing Africa’s systemic problems in education, public health, governance, and other areas of our work. In September 2019, we expanded our footprint by acquiring iHUB in Nairobi, Kenya, strengthening our commitment to supporting entrepreneurs and innovators across the continent. In 2020, we launched CcHUB Syndicate, an investment vehicle designed to improve capital access for startups and bridge the funding gap in Africa’s innovation ecosystem. In 2021, we established the Creative Economy Practice to drive the growth of Africa’s creative economy by applying innovation and technology. In 2023, we further expanded our presence by opening the Co-creation HUB in Windhoek, Namibia. These expansions have been intentional in contributing to our vision to be Africa’s leading pan-African creative and innovation ecosystem enabler.Since its establishment, CcHUB has supported the development and launch of over 10,000 innovative technology companies that address social challenges across Africa in areas such as budget transparency, agtech, education, fintech, healthcare delivery, the creative economy, and sustainability.Job DescriptionAbout the Practice
The Creative Economy Practice at CcHUB aims to enhance Job and Wealth Creation, and opportunities for Creative Expression for Africans, through innovation and the application of technology in the African Creative Economy.The practice focuses on four main areas:

• Research: Landscape, stakeholder, trends analyses and mappings to support evidence-based decision-making and advocacy for the Creative Economy in Africa.
• Community and Ecosystem Development: Connecting creative and technology ecosystems and pan-African networks through the provision of workspace, face-to- face and online meetups and events.
• Investment Readiness: Training, boot camps, incubators, accelerators, tailored advisory and other support to boost the capability and attract investment.
• Investments: Through our Syndicate Fund (equity, $50k – $250k) and management of partner funds – grants, debt, equity, hybrid and through investor education and advocacy.

The practice is an entity that is part of CcHUB Group, https://cchubnigeria.com/, which was launched in 2010 to accelerate the application of social capital and technology for economic prosperity in Africa.Job Purpose
This is an exciting opportunity to develop, manage and support on projects, partnerships, and activities to deliver a creative economy ecosystem development strategy. The selected candidate will support the delivery of a Creative Economy portfolio of programmes working with sector stakeholders, communities, and teams.You will also manage various stakeholders across Africa and internationally and contribute to the overall objectives of the practice.Duties and Responsibilities
Programme Support

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of creative economy projects and activities.
• Support the day-to-day management of specific programmes (e.g., incubators, accelerators, workshops), ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
• Contribute to research and insight gathering across key creative economy sectors.
• Provide administrative and logistical support for programme implementation, including organising meetings, managing documentation, and coordinating events.
• Track project milestones and prepare draft reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Work closely with the Programme Manager and team leads to ensure smooth delivery of activities.

Stakeholder Engagement and Management

• Maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders, including programme participants, partners, and collaborators.
• Support outreach and engagement efforts with creative communities across Africa.
• Support in organising and documenting meetings, interviews, and stakeholder interactions.
• Curate relevant activities, stakeholders, events, and workshops to drive innovation in the selected thematic areas.

Communications & Reporting

• Coordinate with the Communications and Community Units to design and ensure timely and accurate promotion of programmes and activities.
• Provide relevant content (e.g., summaries, updates, profiles) for newsletters, blogs, and social media platforms.
• Assist with collecting and synthesising data for monitoring and evaluation purposes.

QualificationsKey Skills and Compentencies
Knowledge of how Creative Economy Value Chains work and current barriers and opportunities within this in an African contentThe ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• At least 4-5 years of experience designing, leading/supporting delivery of incubation,acceleration or capacity-building programmes focused on artistic, entrepreneurship, digital or technical skills within the Creative Economy in Africa.
• Programme design and related tools, for example, relating to financial management and reporting, evaluation, contract management etc
• Project Management qualification is desirable.
• Experience supporting ecosystem development either in a specific sector within or across the Creative Economy in a formal /corporate context.
• Strong networks across at least one major African market for Creative Economy, although experience across multiple markets is preferred.
• Experience working with international donors/ on international donor-funded projects.
• Relationship management with senior stakeholders, partners and donors from various sectors.
• Creativity skills in developing programs and methods for engaging an audience toward the success of the practice.
